Cub Scouts are girls and boys aged aged 8 to 10½.
Cubs activities include working together, games, making things and developing essential Scouting skills, like navigation and knots as well as trips, hikes and weekend camping. They are curious about the world around them, make new friends along the way and help others and make a difference, in their own communities and beyond. They
Recent activities have included
Camps where they were able to practice new skills and try adventurous activities
Sleepovers in unusual locations
Visits to local museums
Taking part in the District Cross Country run
Participating in the St George's Day and Remembrance Day parades
Going on hikes
Helping at the Ealing Half Marathon
Navigating an orienteering course in a local park
Learning to build and light fires and using it to cook food.
We are fortunate to be based within Montpelier Park. We use the park for games, activities and investigations as part of badges.
We have two Cub packs:
St Benedict's pack Tuesdays - 7pm to 8.30pm
St Peter's pack Thursday - 6pm to 7.30pm
